Generally speaking, when one has an appointment, it means
that a meeting will occur at a specific date and time, with a specific
individual. Not so in the medical world. I've been waiting for 45
minutes at the doctor's office today. That means that not only am I
paying to see the doctor, I'm also losing time that I could be
spending at work, making money. How dare they assume that my time has
no value.
If you're a doctor, take this small piece of advice: schedule your
patients for the time they'll actually get to see you. In the end,
you're still going to see the same number of patients... They'll just
be less angry.

This week I'm configuring 15 laptops for the school. That's how I felt today as I heard the news of Apple's $200 price drop on the iPhone. They saw me coming. I guess I'm just a schmuck who loved Apple products too much. I thought that with Apple's track record of price fixing I would be safe from stuff like this, but apparently I was wrong. Within just a couple of weeks of buying the iPhone, Apple lowers the price and makes me look like a pretentious d-bag for paying too much.

Well you know what, Apple? We're through. That's right. No more Macs or iPods or iTunes downloads. I don't care how pretty and shiny your products are.
